IP Whitelist / Geo-Block for Game Servers

Game & Modpack Requests

Allow server owners to:

  • Restrict game server access by country/region

  • Add an IP whitelist so only selected IPs can connect

  • Enable or disable it directly from the control panel

This would help run country-specific or friends-only game servers.

    After reviewing it, we won’t be moving forward right now, but we genuinely appreciate the input.

    The main reason is this is quite complex and requires a lot of attention/development from our upstream provider. While the feature sounds really good this would be a requirement of the server owner to install plugins as for example for minecraft that would essentially do this automatically for them.

    Due to the complexity changes that we would need to make for our infrastructure just to have such feature we do not believe it would be reasonable at the moment to have this.

    However we appreciate your suggestion and it has been noted for any future purposes.
