Make Lifetime Gameservers Flexible & Free to Change Games
Currently, lifetime game-servers require a €30 payment per game, but the price-to-value ratio isn’t ideal. Unlike VPS, where you can freely change the OS or install custom setups at no extra cost, game-servers are restrictive and don’t adapt well to changing needs.
Suggestions:
Allow clients to switch games on lifetime game-servers for free.
Make game-servers comparable to VPS in terms of flexibility and freedom.
Why it matters:
Games like Minecraft mod-packs evolve rapidly, often being changed every 2 weeks (Minecraft 2 Week Phases). Paying the same fee repeatedly isn’t practical for long-term play.
VPS often provides better specs, more control, and lower cost. Without this kind of flexibility, lifetime game-servers lose appeal.
Free game switching would increase the value of your game-servers, improve client satisfaction, and make them a more worthwhile investment all without any downside.
Right now, most users end up choosing VPS/Dedicated Servers over game-servers because it gives more freedom, better specs, and no slot restrictions. Making game-servers more flexible would make them genuinely competitive and client-friendly.

Thanks for sharing this! 💚
While our gameserver product is indeed easier to use and more aimed at the instant setup category for gameserver hosting, as a lifetime instance we sadly won’t permit freely swappable games to all games in our lifetime server product due to that each game requires a different set of hardware amount (ram, cpu) that is provided with each game, lifetime servers won’t be able to freely change to this.
The same also goes for our rental services, this is based on slot count and requires the customer to upgrade slots to cover the change of the game if they do not already meet it, for lifetime servers this is only possible for a game fee,
However I have made the suggestion to get the gameservers games category like minecraft modpacks, vanilla, and all modified minecraft versions to be grouped under one fee rather than multiple fees.
