Server Nickname / Designation Visibility Improvement

Currently, server nicknames are visible in the main dashboard, but once a service is opened, the nickname is no longer shown.

It would be helpful to display the server nickname inside the service dashboard as well, such as:

  • In the page title

  • As a visible label on the service page

This makes it easier to distinguish between multiple servers, especially when multiple machines have identical IP addresses.

    We’ve logged your idea while we are planning to make UI improvements to make the customers experience a bit better, we have made some changes that include a favourite button to make the experience better for those who wish to bookmark their server to the top of the page.

    While we don’t wish to include a bigger nickname inside the dashboard and this could possibly create unneeded text to be shown on the focus areas as to when a customer is trying to work on their server.

    I have put the request through to possibly improve it for future purposes. However for now we have got the “favourite” server feature that will populate a server into the favourites tab that can make it more distinguishable between other services the customer may have.

    I noticed that the server nickname is shown on the Product Dashboard, but it appears quite small and blends in with other text. It would be much better if it were more prominent (bold and visually separated) so it stands out at a glance.

    Additional enhancement ideas that could further improve clarity and usability:

    • Sticky Server Info Header – keeps server nickname/details visible while scrolling

    • Custom Server Icons or Color Tags – quick visual identification between servers

    • Breadcrumb Showing Server Nickname – e.g. Servers > Server Nickname > Service 😄

    These small UI improvements would make managing multiple servers significantly easier and reduce the chance of confusion or mistakes.
