It would be extremely useful for developers, power users and dashboard creators is having an official ZAP-Hosting API that allows customers to interact with their servers programmatically.
Good news, this one made the list! 📌 We’ve added it to our plans however we don’t currently have this as a large priority, due to the current interest in API services would directly need overlooking at a security level especially for customers.
This is a big task and would take much time therefore we are looking to re-review this again Q2 2026 when we have progressed with our “upcoming” large changes we are soon to offer beforehand.

The main goal is flexibility.
An API would let users build small tools, dashboards, automations, Discord bots, or scripts that can manage and monitor their servers without opening the panel every time.
Example Use Cases:
Custom dashboards that show CPU/RAM/Disk usage
Discord bots that can restart servers or show player count
Monitoring tools that check uptime or send alerts
Mobile apps people create for their personal use
Community panels for admins managing multiple servers
Nothing too advanced, just basic control and read-only information. Even a small set of endpoints would already be super helpful:
Start / Stop / Restart
Check server status
Get CPU / RAM / Disk usage
Uptime and resource details for VPS
Maybe trigger a backup
This gives users a lot more freedom.

Ich bin auch sehr interessiert an der API.
Es scheint ja eine zu geben (weil Owrbit.com eure Server resellt und das Servermanagement in deren eigenes Dashboard integriert hat). Ich würde gern die API zur Verwaltung meiner Server nutzen, Könnt ihr mich bitte für die API freischalten und mir die Spec zukommen lassen?
