Allow Lifetime Server Type Upgrades by Paying the Difference

Dear ZAP-Hosting Team,

I would like to propose a suggestion that could improve customer flexibility and satisfaction regarding lifetime servers.

Currently, lifetime servers are fixed to the initially purchased type. I suggest introducing an option that allows customers to upgrade or change their lifetime server type by paying only the price difference between the original lifetime package and the desired one.

    We already have such system in place for vservers, gameservers, webhosts, ts3 servers, that already permit the customer to pay the surcharge difference when doing an upgrade.

    Surcharge is the price calculated of the package of lifetime, normally it is based on time remaning of the current service, however with lifetime this is not possible as there isn’t any “remaning time” to calculate against, we therefore base upgrade prices on the 12 month period which is what the customer actually pays for at the start.

    Therefore when you purchase a lifetime server with us, you are paying in the price of a 12 month server (however you get to keep it as long as your active).

    Therefore upgrades are also based on this model.
